Visit to 8th Wonder of the world - Sigiriya (Srilanka)
Srilanka - Sri means "Lucky" & Lanka means "Land". Trips which get planned all of a sudden get executed superbly most of the times. One cannot discount the hardwork and efforts which go in the research beforehand. Execution is simple when planning is good and also there is a contingency plan ready. I am always in search of offbeat places wherein I wont get crowd which has come because of Social anxiety or Peer pressure most of the times. We Indians gossip a lot and go on hearsay without verifying the facts. There was an issue in Srilanka 5 months back but now things have got to normal. To my surprise, when I went, I didn't found any tourists in Srilanka. Even the flights were not full. A perfect setting for me.
